What’s This, Kubuntu Sending Worms
19 10 2006This is way to funny. I think spammers need to start reviewing who they send their “worms” to.
Mail server report. Our firewall determined the e-mails containing worm copies are being sent from your computer. Nowadays it happens from many computers, because this is a new virus type (Network Worms). Using the new bug in the Windows, these viruses infect the computer unnoticeably. After the penetrating into the computer the virus harvests all the e-mail addresses and sends the copies of itself to these e-mail addresses Please install updates for worm elimination and your computer restoring.

anonymous? there was nothing stuck up what so ever about that post. If you haven’t been able to tell, there is a tad bit of humor to each one of my posts. Just so you know, I am one of those Linux users that are grateful for what Microsoft did for the industry.
The humor here has nothing to do with Microsoft, but the fact I received a worm email with the said attachment. Yes, I think Linux is better in this aspect that Microsoft, because guess what, I opened the email and laugh. You can’t do that in Windows.
Truthfully, the only reason the “adoption” would be a myth, is because Linux marketing sucks. Everyone knows what Microsoft and Mac is. I am sure one day, everyone will know Linux as well. Plus the fact everything is so free in the community..
Dannilion: Rocking! KMail is my favorite! I thought with Thunderbird and Windows XP you were a little bit safe at least. Couldn’t tell you. The last time I seen a Microsoft machine running was, heh this could turn into one of those Ford/Chevy/Dodge jokes really quick, but anyways, the last time I seen one running was in a screenshot I think
