Only Christmas and Kwanzaa are placed every year in the time between 24. and 31. december. Hanukkah switches between november and december and Eid ud-Adha moves around the hole year. Kwanzaa is not an original african celebration it was invented by Ron Karenga (sociologist) in 1966.

I think tolerate other religions is ok but deny our own culture is ridiculus.

I’m from Germany and the “hyper-political-correctness” now swashs slowly to europe, too. In Germany it’s still ok to say “Merry Chrismas” without to get a bad conscience.

So I wish all readers and ubuntu users a

Merry Christmas!

P.S. sorry for my bad english :)

What about Festivus?

And if it is still ok to say Merry Christmas over in Germany, I may just have to go over there again! Or back to Australia… how I miss Australia.
