Sitting in IRC, one of the awesome Kubuntu users asked a question. I of course answered the question, and then about 5 minutes later, another awesome user, Toyd, chimed in with THIS LINK. Ubuntu Video has been around for a while and the owner, John, updates it constantly. Well tonight, right before passing out for sleep I went through and caught some new stuff that had me laughing hard. Check out all of the videos, but the following were great:
Ubuntu video is 99.9% all about Ubuntu. There are a lot of your typical Beryl/Compiz videos, but there are a lot of other neat videos.
Last night there were a few episodes last night on IRC in #ubuntu that needed to be taken care of. However when people would fire off the ops call, nobody was around to help out because more than likely they were out enjoying their life. Well I was given some temp ops to help manage some of the rowdiness last night and during that time I got rid of a person who decided to CTCP finger people, including myself. Well I got a DCC message which was absolutely classic. Now mind you I used mIRC for about a total of 1 year during my gaming years in like 2001. Prior to that I was using BitchX or Xchat, and after that I have been using IRSSI and Konversation. But this message was awesome!

This quote is in reference to Microsoft’s Charles Simonyi going to space. My only problem with this is that Mark beat him there years ago. But…Does Mark consider himself a nerd?
It is pretty cool nonetheless that if you have the money, space exploration is possible. I would without a doubt be scared to death on that 8 minute ride up, but I think once getting there it would be amazing. So Mark, do you consider yourself a nerd? If so, make sure you contact Charles and let him know Ubuntu beat um to the punch
